enterprisedb.com not available in China

Your web site www.enterprisedb.com and postgres.enterprisedb.com is not available in China.
I have to tunnel into my server in the U.S. to even make this forum post.
I seriously doubt your website has been specifically blocked by the government. Most likely, your DNS records are not picked up by the China DNS servers. This happens sometimes and if your not in the local China DNS, you aren't rout able.

I have seen this problem in the past with other web sites. One method that seems to work is to simply force a change event on your DNS records. The "dumb" way to do this is to make a change and then change it back again. This will hopefully allow the China DNS servers to pick up on the change and you will added.

Seems a shame that the largest growth market is not able to access your products ;)

Jon

Hi Jon

Which city are you in ? I've checked this morning from Beijing and it seems to be OK. We have seen some glitches in China in the past so there may have been a temporary infrastructure issue somewhere.

If there is specific information you need by all means drop an email with your details though info.asiapacific@enterprisedb.com and we will make sure you get it.

Mike Smith
