is this issue allready fixed. I am trying edbplus in the Advanced Server Version 9.1 having the same problems.

Console mode installation is available ,however silent mode installation is not available. You can start the installation in console mode like below:

For Linux
./pgplus-advsvr-linux-x86_83012.bin -console

For Windows
pgplus-advsvr-linux-x86_83012.exe -console

Hi,

I downloaded and compiled the tuning wizard, but it seems to fail on network communication. The same happened couple of moths back when I tried to run that during the Postgresql installation. Should it be working? How can I debug it?

I did all the things suggested in the error.

I am running windows xp sp2

1. did an uninstall of 8.2 on windows using add/remove software via control panel
2. delete enterprisedb user windows account
3. attempted to re-install 8.3 on the machine
4. when prompted to enter the enterprisedb password, recevied an error that it could not authenticate my password etc...

When I opened http://www.enterprisedb.com/learning/documentation/oslicenses.do I just found PostgresPlus components licenses.
Where is it possible to find PostgresPlus license information?
Is PostgresPlus free or I have to buy subscriptions?
For example if I want to use PostgresPlus as db backend for my website(online advertising) do I have to buy subscription?

I have some applications (java apps in tomcat) running against postgres 8.3.1 and have installed edb on my dev machine.

I gather I need to change ports from 5432 to 5444. Are there any other changes I need to make? Change the JDBC URLs otherwise? Change the JDBC drivers?
