Hi,

Are there plans to support accessing the DB server hosted in the cloud by the internal AWS IP? This would save bandwidth costs since inter-AWS communication can be done using the internal IPs. I understand not all users will be running their app servers in the AWS environment, but for those of us who do, it would be a huge benefit to allow communication using the internal private network of AWS rather than route everything outside on public DNS and then back in again.

It is supported. Log into your AWS console and you'll see the internal DNS and IP associated with your instances.
