silly question, yesterday i tried registering here in the forums but failed and this morning to my surprise i can post messages but im using this account and no im not an hacker, im just a noob that want to register with my own account so please help me

P.S. in case this is not sinking in to you what im saying is im using an account of this Mariaama member to post here but i do not know his/her password and no plans on further using this account more until this priviledge expires or i get my own account

I'm having the same problem, and I think we have broken forum code.

As far as I recall, I'm not a member. Yet I have access to account information, *as if I were a member*, under a username I never would have chosen, and evidently without a password or email information either. If I signed up, I darn sure would have made it possible to be notified of replies.

In any case, no option to log out or to subscribe exists. Nor can I modify the username field -- which appears to be some code-generated string. It's no typical human expression.

So, I think the subscription functionality is broken here. Can't sign up. Yet I can post under this arbitrary account access. I sure don't want to be inadvertently sharing an existing account. I have no idea from here if cookies are the issue or what.

Studying this more, I'm pretty damned sure the subscription mechanisms for this forum are broken. The date joined is 2 days ago. I didn't even visit then. If I would have joined previously, it would probably have been a year or so ago. This, together with the incomplete fields and inability to log out or in... indicate dysfunctionality.
