Error -> Problem Running Post-Install Step, Error Reading File postgreSQL.conf
OS -> Windows 7 Home Premium
PostgreSQL one click installer -> Version 9.0.4-1
Installation logs -> in attachment below

tried solutions but failed
- set locale as C or POSIX or English (United States)
- runas /user:postgres cmd and then cd "\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.1\bin" initdb -D "C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.1\data" -E UTF8 --locale=English
- turned off windows firewall
- on windows services set secondary logon as automatic
- set hostfile to 127.0.0.1 and ::1 as local host

please help a noob i want to start learning SQL for me to be more productive at our office work

What error did you get, when running the following command?

I'm not sure it's the same question, but I got the same alert dialog when I uninstalled the 9.0.4 installation and try to install 9.1.0 release on my Windows 7 Ultimate.

I tried many times, including delete all the remained folders, restart, delete the postgres user, grant write privileges to a new created data folder, the same error occurred.

Until I shutdown the Antivirus software(Kaspersky), the error is gone.

I have this error "Error reading file C: Program Files/PostgreSQL/9.1/data/postgresql.conf" at the end of installation, PostgreSQL 9.1 program, what should I do? Please. Thank you.
