I just installed Windows Server 2003, then I updated it to Service Pack 2. Then I tried to install this PostGreSQL 8.4. After inputting password, I got an error that it failed to create service user account postgres. Attached is the installation log.

Hi,

Are you able to create the user from the command-line?



If it runs successfully, then run the one click installer.
