error when install in solaris

hi

my environment is:
solaris x86-64

when i install give this message:

<install-path>dbserver/bin/initdb: syntax error at line 1: '(' unexpected.

Anybody know what happen?

Hi Miguel,

Were you able to get past this issue? If not can you provide the following information.

What is the version of the installer?
Which shell are you using?

Try running it in bash, this might do the trick.
