First off, thank you for expanding StackBuilder support to Linux and Mac!

I get "Checksum verification failed" errors when using StackBuilder to install these packages on my G4 PowerBook (32-bit PPC) running OS X 10.5.5:

ApachePHP v2.2.9-5.2.6
psqlODBC v08.03.0200

The StackBuilder app I'm running is from the PostgreSQL 8.3.5-1 one-click installer package, which installed without problems and otherwise seems to work OK.

I've tried downloading both multiple times. I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks!

Hi Jeff,

I suspect a bug has crept into the checksum code that is specific to the PPC architecture. I have a PPC Mac knocking around at home somewhere, so I'll dig it out and figure out the problem.

In the meantime, you should be able to manually run the individual installers to get your server running - just make sure you run the ApachePHP installer before any of the PHP applications.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Regards, Dave.

I was able to grab the installers before the StackBuilder app deleted them and they worked fine.

Thanks Dave!

It'll only delete the unpacked copies - it should leave the downloaded files behind so it can reuse them if you decide to reinstall something.

Anyhoo, glad you're up and running. I remembered the power book this morning and will look at the problem today.

This is now fixed for the next release. Thanks!
